LBA
Latin Business Association
Interns Needed to Help Save the Day!

The LBA is about to launch its 4th annual Latino Business Expo
on September 2, 1999. This event is designed to provide educational,
networking and business opportunities to many of the 307,000
Latino-owned businesses in Southern California. Three
thousand (3,000) participants are expected to
attend this year's Expo.

Coordinating such an event is an awesome task.
The LBA is a non-profit organization that operates with a small,
but dedicated and strong-hearted staff. Therefore, volunteer
help is always needed, welcomed, and APPRECIATED!
Volunteerism provides opportunities for professional
networking, making new friends, and serving the community.

Please join the LBA in executing this premier event in the business
community. As a key player in this event, each volunteer will be
appropriately recognized in the event program, with a certificate of
appreciation, and invited to a post-event wrap-up party in honor of our
volunteers! And with a minimum of four hours of time donated,
volunteers will be given complimentary access to their choice of an
exciting, informative, and education business session and access
to the trade-show floor -- a $55 value!

Please call Olga Chaidez, 1999 Latino Business Expo Volunteer Coordinator,
at 323/721-4000 with your interest. Afterwards, you will be contacted to
schedule a volunteer orientation meeting time.
