>The First Brazilian Workshop on Virtual Reality (WRV'97) was occurred
>in So Carlos, SP, in November 9-12. It had about 200 participants,
>in the technical sessions, national and international invited talk,
>company presentations, and short-courses.

>The Second Brazilian Workshop on Virtual Reality (WRV'99) is being
>organized by the Faculty of Informatics of the Foundation EurĖpides de
>MarĖlia, SP, to serve as a forum for discussions and dissemination of
>studies, research projects, and applications in relevant areas of
>virtual reality. It will be held in November 18-20.

>The planned activities for the WRVĨ99 include: short-courses, invited
>talks, technical sessions for presentation of selected papers, and
>demonstrations of virtual reality applications.

>Authors are invited to submit original papers, on concluded and
>on-going works, related to the main aspects of Virtual Reality.
>Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
> - Hardware and software for virtual reality;

> - Virtual reality applications in the areas of education, medicine,

> - Social, economical and technical impacts of virtual reality.

>The papers will be reviewed by researchers and practitioners from
>virtual reality area. All accepted papers will be presented at the
>technical sessions and published in the Proceedings of the Workshop.

>Submitted papers should be in English or in Portuguese, in the
>following format: A4 paper, single column, 3,5 cm for upper margin,
>2 cm for bottom margin, 3 cm for lateral margins, letter size 12, Times
>New Roman type or equivalent, simple space, and no page numbered.
>The first page of the paper should contain the paper title, author(s)
>name(s), complete address (phone, fax, e-mail) of authors, and
>abstract. The text should start right after the abstract. The
