DESCRIPTION: Greenwood Press' series on multicultural media invites
contributions that focus on the structure and operation of mass media that
are controlled, significantly influenced and owned by AHANA (African,
Hispanic or Latino, Asian and Native Americans), the occupational roles and
careers of their gatekeepers, the nature of the images they produce and
distribute, and the effects those images have on their audiences. Research
should consider the economic, political and cultural environments in which
they exist. All methodological approaches are welcome in forms including
case studies, critical essays, and profiles of professionals, and in APA
format submitted on an IBM-readable diskette.
