In response to the query about comparative peace processes, the most recent
issue of the Stanford University Press catalogue includes an announcement
for COMPARATIVE PEACE PROCESSES IN LATIN AMERICA, edited by Cynthia J.
Arnson. It notes that the book "presents a carefully structured
comparative analysis of six Latin American countries--Nicaragua, El
Salvador, Guatemala, Mexico, Colombia, and Peru--which experienced
guerrilla warfare that outlasted the end of the Cold War."
