Latino film buffs will be gathering in San Diego. I am always
willing to post events of this nature on my website, in order to give them
wider exposure.

Films From Throughout Latin America And United States Take Center
Stage At Centro Cultural de la Raza's: 1999 San Diego Latino Film
Festival.

March 9-14, 1999. The Centro Cultural de la Raza, San Diego's
premiere Latino arts organization, is once again proud to announce the
Annual San Diego Latino Film Festival (SDLFF). The upcoming festival will
take place March 9-14, 1999 at United Artists Theatres located in downtown
San Diego's historic Gaslamp District.

Now celebrating its sixth year, the 1999 festival will screen over 40
films and videos from throughout Latin America and United States.
The San Diego Latino Film Festival has been providing local San Diego a
nd Baja California audiences with the rare chance to see works by and/or
about the Latino experience for the past six years. Over 250
films/videos have been screened and 12,000 people have attended in the past.

Tickets go on sale starting February 1st. Ticket prices: $7 General
Audience and $5 Student/Seniors. A Festival Pass can be purchased for $75
(includes all 15 programs and Opening/Closing Night Celebrations).
