Staff Assistant III, Central America Project,
Harvard Institute for International Development (HIID)

This person is the primary assistant reporting to the Director and
Manager of The Central America Project and assists other members of
team as needed. Responsibilities include: processing and tracking
expenses reports, telephone bills and all expenditures, organizing
meetings, creating weekly news summary, drafting time sensitive
correspondence, arranging travel and visas, answering phones,
distributing mail, copying, and filing. Performs other duties as
required.

Candidates must be a H.S. graduate; college preferred, 3+ years
business office experience; excellent organizational, time management,
interpersonal and communication skills (written, verbal). Ability to
multi-task under deadlines with accuracy. Strong PC background with
knowledge of Windows environment (spreadsheets, databases, e-mail and
internet). Fluent Spanish and flexibility to work overtime essential.
International experience or interest preferred.
