CompuServe Network Services To Offer Dedicated Fully Integrated
Operation in Mexico
MEXICO CITY, June 3, 1997 - CompuServe Network Services announced today
the continued expansion of its global operations in Latin America with
the opening of its first office in Mexico to support its growing base of
business customers.
"Continuing its commitment to providing the best network services in
international markets, CompuServe Network Services will offer a wide
range of managed network services and remote access products to include
Intranet services to customers throughout Mexico," according to Peter
Van Camp, Executive Vice President CompuServe Network Services.
"Mexico is a critically important market for business and continues to
grow in importance in the world economy," Van Camp said. "The addition
of a dedicated CompuServe Network Services effort in Mexico
underscores our commitment to servicing the data communications needs of
our customers."
Recently rated as the best Internet Service Provider in Mexico,
CompuServe Network Services has offered access to its global network in
Mexico since 1994 with dial-up services growing at an annual rate of 163
percent.
CompuServe Mexico will now also offer turnkey, network solutions to
large organizations. This allows CompuServe Mexico to add value to the
network which was recently awarded the Best New Data Carrier Award by
Communications Week International.
