Dear friends,
Consider this an invitation to a new, creative, collaborative space!
A group of women from ZapNet
<http://www.actlab.utexas.edu/~zapatistas/guide.html>
have set out on a new enterprise, the creation of an interactive discussion
and creation-space addressing issues of importance to women in Chiapas:
http://www.actlab.utexas.edu/~geneve/zapwomen/
We have just begun this exploration, but we hope you will join us in its
evolution.
This is intended to be a research resource, meeting place, message board
for news and announcements, discussion forum for theoretical inquiry and
all-around catalystic playground of explorative and activist dimensions!
The most dynamic feature so far is the FORUM, set up so we all can converse
freely with each other on all intriguing issues, at:
http://www.actlab.utexas.edu/~geneve/zapwomen/forum/
We are also seeking your stories, artwork, fotos, testimonials, whatever
you have to contribute, to weave into the fabric of our website. If you
have an article, paper, or other longish text document, or graphic
material, you might choose to send it to us directly for consideration as
part of the "Zapatista Women" website, instead of posting it to the forum.
We will be hosting other people's contributions as able!
Hope to see you there!
Abrazos y besitos solidarios,
Geneve
