Domingo F. Sarmiento in Chile

Estimados Lasnet cybernautas,
I wondered if anyone can refer any titles fo works related to Domingo
F. Sarmiento's exile in Chile. My interest centers around the trips
(US, W. Europe, etc) he made while in Chile, and his contributions to
the Chilean educational system at the time (1830s-1850s). Thank you
for your contribution.
