Subject: microfinance for women in south america
Hi, I am studying for my masters in social anthropology, having taken my
first degree in American Studies in Ireland and at Uni. of Minnesota
I am currently researching microfinance and its impact on the family.
Has it improved the position of women? Has it lead to an improvement for
the whole family? What if any have been the negative effects on women.
I am looking for a project to study during June/July.
Do you know of any projects I could observe, organisations I could
contact, women's groups involved in microfinance facilitating? Where
should I look for more precise information?
