Birmingham-Southern College's Latin American Studies Program is currently
updating its web page and is planning to add a section with links to the top
10 Latin American Studies graduate programs in the United States. We are a
small liberal arts college with a strong interest in Latin America. Many of
our graduates eventually go to top graduate programs in the country. With
this in mind, we are planning to list in our web page the top 10 LAS
graduate programs so our seniors will have access to graduate school
information through our home page.
While we have a general idea about strong graduate programs out there (such
as the University of Florida in Gainesville and University of Texas in
Austin), I would appreciate your helping us establish the TOP 10 LAS
graduate programs in the nation. Is there a consensus on such a list?? If
you have any suggestions about the names of schools in the TOP 10 LIST,
please e-mail me a quick message. If you have the home page address to any
of these schools, it would be wonderful.
