I am glad to see this action is actually targeting the parent corporation.
I do not see the benefit, as occurs in many boycotts, of attacking
independently operated subsidiaries of the organization. For example, the
recent racism scandal in Texaco spurred a series of boycotts and pickets of
local Texaco gas stations. Well, this doesn't really hurt Texaco, or only
very little, as each little gas station is owned by just some average
person. So actually calling the main corporation makes a lot more sense.
