The Sephardic Studies Discussion Group of the Modern Languages Association
(MLA) will be sponsoring its annual session at the MLA convention to be
held 27-30 December 1997 in Toronto, Canada. Those wishing to present
papers at this session should send a one-page abstract by 15 March 1997

The 1997 session will be open topic. Proposals on any aspect of
Sephardic or converso literature will be considered.
To participate, you must be able to attend the conference and present
your paper in person. For your name to appear in the convention program,
you must become a member of the MLA by 1 April 1997.
