This message is sent to warn people about a scam by the

"One Stop Travel Center" of Tampa, Florida, targeting the

people of Puerto Rico.

(Este mensaje es para advertir al publico sobre una

promocion deshonesta dirigida contra el pueblo de

Puerto Rico por parte de la agencia de viajes

"One Stop Travel Center" de Tampa, Florida.)

Earlier in the year, my sister answered an

add placed in a Puerto Rican newspaper

by "One Stop Travel Center" of Tampa,

(110 S. Hoover Blvd., #119, Tampa, FL)

advertising a great vacation package that included

trips Disneyworld and a Caribbean cruise, for

a really low price. My sister was getting

married and that would be her honeymoon trip.

After she paid a $500 deposit, however, the

agency suddenly changed the dates of

departure and the destinations. Since these

changes conflicted with the wedding date and

her vacation time, she called to cancel her

order and requested a refund of her deposit.

However, "One Stop Travel Center"

stated that they could not refund the money

because the deadline for cancellations had

expired. The deadline was a few days BEFORE

they notified my sister of the changes to her

vacation package!

We complained to the Florida Division of

Consumer Affairs, and they found sufficient

cause for a full-blown investigation.

The travel agency still refuses to pay

the deposit back (my sister never got to

take her honeymoon trip!), and she will

pursue additional legal actions.

DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM!

Do not pay any 'deposits' for

vacation trips to "One Stop Travel

Center" or any other travel agencyl

if the agency do not provide for full

refunds in case THEY change the conditions.
