I am a doctoral student at Adelphi University (Garden City, New York), and I
am working on my dissertation. I am researching the adjustment of
International and American students to college.
I need to find students who are willing to fill out my survey. It is a very
interesting questionnaire, which should take less than 20 minutes to be
completed. All the responses will be anonymous.
To participate in this study, the student needs to be:
1) A feshman or sophomore
2) Between the ages of 17 and 21
3) Part of one of the following three groups:
* International students from Latin America who moved to the United States
WITHOUT their parents to attend college.
or
* American students who live with their parents and commute to school,
or
* American students who study and live at least 3 hours away from their
parents' home,
