I am a doctoral student at Adelphi University (Garden City, New York), and I
am working on my dissertation. I am researching the adjustment of
international students to college. Since I am originally from Brazil, I am
particularly interested in obtaining responses from International students
from Latin America who moved to the United States without their parents to
attend college.
I need to find students who are willing to fill out my survey. It is a very
interesting questionnaire, which should take less than 20 minutes to be
completed. All the responses will be anonymous.
To participate in my study, the international student needs to be:
1) A freshman or sophomore student in college in the United States,
2) Between the ages of 17 and 21,
3) From a Latin American country (South America and Central America),
4) The student should have moved to the United States WITHOUT his/her
parents to attend college.
The survey is in English. If you do not fit the criteria for participation
but know someone else who might be interested and who fits the criteria,
