The cultural history of North and Latin America. Call for papers for a workshop
to be held at the 49th International Congress of Americanists, Pontificia
Universidad Catolica de Quito, Quito, Ecuador, 7-11 July 1997. Aspects of the
history of intellectuals and social sciences in any period at any North or
Latin American country will be considered for discussion. Comparative studies
are also encouraged. A4 paper proposals and CV to be sent preferably through
