Greetings to all!

I am an undergraduate student at the University of California, Los
Angeles. I am working on an upcoming exhibition (which will be held in the
Fowler Museum of Cultural History) entitled "Che Guevara: Icon, Myth and
Man - Hero Imagery in the Political Poster". Currently, I am aiding my
professor, David Kunzle of the UCLA Art History department, in a research
seminar devoted to finding still *more* visual representations of Che.
Professor Kunzle's personal collection is already impressive, with many
posters from around the world depicting Che; however, there is a severe
lack of images from certain regions, for example, the middle east.

I need anything visual! Nothing is too insignificant! We're especially
looking for a poster image by Paul Davis which was used to advertise a 1968
issue of the Evergreen Review Magazine...there has also been talk of Che
ties, Che beer (brewed in Hetfordshire, England), etc. I am also interested
in any political cartoons or comics with Che in them, in any language.

This will be a very exciting exhibition, which will take place in the
Fall of 1997 (to coincide with the 30th anniversary of Che's death) and
hopefully it will travel to other college/university campuses and
centers of learning as well!

Please e-mail me directly with any and all information at the following

Thanks in advance for your help!
