Wish we could join you in petitioning Congress and demonstrating in DC, but
neither is feasible from here. Best thing we can do at SFU (where we've had
an exchange program with the University of Havana in place for about 7
years) is to join with other Canadian academics and interested Canadians in
petitioning OUR government to resist the arrogant but dangerous nonsense in
the Helms-Burton Bill. Best of luck to you (and us).
