The road from Acapulco to Puerto Escondido through the Costa Chica
has not good reputation for night drivers. Avoid it in the evenings and drive it
at day-hours. In a town close to the Laguna de Chacagua you will find a
very interesting community where all of the people are descendants of
Africans. They have not mixed (which is really unfrequent in Mexico) with
other races. It is the only blach community you will find in Mexico.
