We here at the University of Connecticut are in the process of creating
a Graduate level area studies certificate for Latin America and the Caribbean.
We offer the Masters, but we ant to allow people withn other disciplines and
departments to be able to gain recognition if they choose to focus their
studies within Latin America and the Caribbean. Since we want our program to be
comprable to others around the country, we are asking that any programs that
offer such a certificate please send us an outline of the requirements.
