Tropical Research and Development, a small woman-owned international
consulting firm, seeks a PhD graduate or a PhD student for a 2 year FOREST
ECOLOGIST position in Santa Cruz, Bolivia. The forest ecologist will
facilitate research activities related to assessing the impacts of all facets
of forestry on ecosystem processes, biological diversity, and species of
particular concern on a sustainable forestry project that is being funded by
USAID. Candidates should be fluent in Spanish, have substantial experience in
the design of research activities, and be familiar with current literature on
forest ecology for tropical forests in Latin America. Scheduled start date is
