A free-lance journalist asked me about academic research on street
children in Latin America. I work on child groth, development and
nutrition, but not with street children. Perhaps some of you can
recommend sources. The journalist will be working out of Guatemala,
but all of Latin America is of interest. A special topic is
legislation to add mustard sed oil to wood glue to inhibit glue
sniffing by the street children. I will pass on any of your
