The minimum qualifications are a Bachelor's degree in Latin
American Studies, Political Science, Journalism, or other
related field, plus 3 years experience as a professional
journalist based in Latin America. Preferred qualifications
include professional experience as a print publication
journalist specialized in Latin American topics; demonstrated
comprehension of Latin American political and economic concepts
and terminology; reading, writing and speaking fluency in
Spanish and demonstrated ability for Spanish-English
translation; experience with PCs and online publishing.
