South America Today application extension

The application deadline for the 1995 Fulbright summer seminar South America
Today has been extended to November 30. Interested scholars who may have been
unable to meet the earlier deadline are encouraged to consider applying. The
seminar will be conducted in Brazil, Argentina, and Peru between June 10 and
July 22, 1995, and will focus on current political, social, economic and
ecological developments in those countries. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in
one of the social sciences and teach one or more undergraduate courses on
Latin America. Candidates should not, however, have significant experience in
any of the three target countries. Anyone interested in applying should call
