RE: Log-on procedures for U.Mississippi database on contemporary
Latin America issues

1. Attached are log-on procedures (simplified). For details ask
Don Mabry, coordinator, (djm1@ra.msstate.edu )

2. The current version of my Chiapas Diary is available on this
database and can be down-loaded by interested readers.

3. If there is anyone else who wants to be unsubscribed from this
user's list, please let me know. We've had trouble unsubscribing
some people because of multiple addresses and other problems.

Saludos,

GB

PS The final entries of the Chiapas Diary consist mainly in
the comments of Profmexis network members who commented on
the paper of the issues. So the network served its purpose.

Sure.

FTP to ftp.msstate.edu. That is, at your e-mail prompt, type the following:

ftp ftp.msstate.edu

When you are asked for a userid, type:

anonymous

When you are asked for a password, type:

your e-mail address (whatever it is)

Then type:

cd docs/history/Latin_America

If you want to see the files in this directory, type ls -FC and
a list will appear.

To retrieve the file, type:

get chiapas.1994

When the file has been transmitted, type

quit

You will be back at your own prompt. The file will be in your account
(or on a disk drive if you ftp-ed directly from one of the drives
on your computer).
