Black Latin American Women Writers

I am not a member of your list but I wonder if I might ask a
question. I am a librarian at Clemson University. One of our
faculty members in the Spanish Department is seeking all the
information she can find on black Latin American women writers
(who write or wrote in Spanish). Can anyone tell me if there
is a good resource to consult on this? A book you would
recommend? An index? An article? We would appreciate any
help you could offer, even if it is only to provide the names of
writers who fit into this category. Our resources are rather
limited here in the area of literary criticism, so we thank you
