Education in Brazil

I sent a message on Tuesday, 2/1 requesting information on public
secondary education policy in Brazil. However, I neglected to list my

Basically, I am researching education policy and its role in preparing
students for work. I have had a difficult time finding current
information on recent policy, particularly since the 1990 Law of
Directives and Bases. I am interested in both federal policy and state
policy in Rio, Sao Paulo, and Pernambuco. I would appreciate any
bibliographic sources, contacts, or tips. Obrigado!
